With USB Network Gate, you can reach any USB device no matter where it is. The software is capable of redirecting USB peripherals to virtually any remote desktop. A shared device appears in a remote system like it was attached to the computer directly.

Simple installation

USB Network Gate consists of two software modules, server and client, united in a single application. This program doesn’t require any complex configuration for sharing USB over the Remote Desktop Protocol. All you need to do is install it on all computers that will take part in the communication with remote devices.

Cross-platform connections

Thanks to the advanced port virtualization technology that powers USB Network Gate, the app supports connections between different platforms. For example, you can share a USB device on a Windows PC and remotely access it from Linux and vice versa.

Here’s how USB Network Gate works:

Install the app on both your local computer to which a device you want to share is connected physically and the remote machine from which you are going to access the device.

Then, launch the app on the local PC and share the device in the “Local USB devices” window.

Next, open the app on the remote machine and find the device in the “Remote USB devices” tab. Click “Connect” next to the peripheral and it will appear in the Device Manager of your remote system. That’s it!
