Working in a wide variety of IT positions, with all major operating systems, I have expanded my experience and knowledge in all areas of tech. Whether it's trying to automate some task on my Mac or create a cool smart home project with Raspberry Pi, I'm still working to increase my knowledge in the geek world.

I am a writer, editor, database administrator, webmaster.I have done contracting for IBM, the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta, Nav Canada, and others. Now I mainly focus on writing my tech exploits, as well as news and reviews.

Besides, I write for How-To Geek, The Mac Observer, and make frequent contributions to the Daily Observations podcast and host my own Terminal Tinkering podcast.
