HelpWire Introduces New Client Grouping Feature in the Web Portal

Updated on:

Electronic Team, Inc. is pleased to highlight a new update in HelpWire: the introduction of Client Grouping within the HelpWire Web Portal.

New Client Grouping Feature in the Web Portal

This enhancement builds on the recent redesign of the Web Portal, which was created to support a more flexible and scalable feature set. Client Grouping is the first major addition made possible by that redesign, and it brings a meaningful improvement to how Operators manage and organize their remote clients.

With this update, HelpWire users can now create customized groups and organize clients in a way that aligns with their workflow—whether that means separating different companies, handling multiple departments, or simply keeping complex environments more structured.

What’s New

The Client Grouping feature is available directly inside the Web Portal:

  1. A Groups section now appears in the left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Users can create new groups using the ➕ icon.

  3. Clients can be assigned to groups in two simple ways:

    • Selecting an existing client and updating the new Group field in their profile
    • Adding a new client directly within a selected group

This functionality offers better clarity when managing growing client lists and gives teams more control over how information is organized.

What’s Coming Next

Client Grouping is just the first step. HelpWire is already working on the next major update: Operator Permissions.

This upcoming feature will allow Company Owners to limit access to specific Client Groups, ensuring Operators only see the clients they are responsible for. It’s a highly requested improvement and part of a broader initiative to strengthen access control and streamline team collaboration.

More details will be shared as the feature approaches release.

Continuing to Evolve HelpWire

HelpWire’s development continues to be shaped by direct input from its user community. Client Grouping reflects ongoing efforts to make the platform more intuitive, scalable, and aligned with real-world remote support needs.

Electronic Team, Inc. looks forward to sharing additional updates as HelpWire expands its capabilities and introduces new tools for Operators and organizations.
