Connect your iPhone to the same Wi-Fi as your Fire TV, open TVRem, and during the first setup, enter the code displayed on your TV. Absolutely. TVRem supports Samsung Smart TVs. Once connected, you can change channels, adjust the volume, type with the on-screen keyboard, and open apps directly from your iPhone, just like with a regular Samsung remote.

It’s straightforward and similar to other supported TVs:

  1. Install TVRem on your iPhone.
  2. Make sure your iPhone and Roku are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. Open TVRem, select your Roku device from the list, and tap to connect.

You’ll then be able to manage your Roku directly from your iPhone.

If TVRem asks for permission on your Roku, do this on your Roku device:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote.
  2. Go to Settings → System → Advanced system settings.
  3. Choose Control by mobile apps.
  4. Open Network access and select Enabled or Permissive.

Setup takes just a moment:

  1. Download and install TVRem on your iPhone.
  2. Connect both your iPhone and your Android TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. Open TVRem, tap your TV in the device list, and enter the code shown on your TV screen.

Once paired, your iPhone works as a full Android TV remote.

At the moment, TVRem doesn’t work with LG TVs. However, support for this brand will be added in future updates – stay tuned!
