FAQ

Dongle keys, also known as security dongles or physical license keys, are USB devices that provide license information for a commercial app. They allow you to access the app while connected, and access is revoked when the dongle is disconnected. This type of copy protection is commonly used for computer-assisted design (CAD) applications.
Install Donglify on both the local and the remote computer, share the device on one, then connect to it on the other. You will also need to sign up for the free demo.

Depending on your VM, this can be problematic or simply impossible. Try Donglify if you’re having problems with USB passthrough to a VM.
