HelpWire introduces support for multiple active remote sessions
HelpWire has added multiple active remote sessions per operator. IT teams can now maintain simultaneous connections to several client devices and move between them without terminating any ongoing sessions.
Why this matters
Previously, operators could connect to multiple devices but were limited to working within a single client session at a time. With this update, it is now possible to establish connections across multiple clients concurrently, switch between them, and keep every session active without disruption.
Using multiple active remote sessions, operators can:
- Launch parallel sessions to different machines, each running in its own tab
- Move between active sessions without closing or pausing others
- Continue unattended access in the background while assisting another client in another tab
Stay connected
This feature builds on recent HelpWire improvements, such as unattended access for Linux, role-based operator permissions, and two-factor authentication. Together, these updates help IT teams securely manage multiple devices, operators, and clients from a single interface.
